We recently celebrated our son's First Holy Communion at The Village Hotel, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfectly suited to such a special occasion. A huge thank you to Dave, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly manner truly made a difference and allowed us to enjoy the day stress-free. Every request was handled with care, and it was clear that he genuinely wanted the day to be perfect for us. The food was absolutely outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and enjoyed by everyone, young and old alike. We were especially touched when the chef came out personally to meet us. It’s not something you see often, and it added such a thoughtful and personal touch to the celebration. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to the kitchen team for a job extremely well done. The private space was set up beautifully, and the staff struck that ideal balance of being attentive without ever feeling overbearing. It felt like we were looked after by people who truly cared. Thank you to everyone at The Village Hotel for helping us create such lasting and joyful memories. We’ll be back, and we’ll definitely be recommending you to friends and family looking for a venue that delivers quality, care, and that extra bit of heart.
